Terra Washco MA, MFTC

I received a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University, and have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, and the Gottman Method.

I’m a proud Colorado native who enjoys all it has to offer. I love spending time with family and friends (my three kids are pretty cool). In my free time I like to be outdoors, going on long walks with my two pups, paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, and going to concerts. I also enjoy reading, cooking new recipes, trying to keep my houseplants alive, and listening to music.

Being a therapist is a privilege and honor. I pride myself in being someone who shows up as my authentic self, demonstrating both empathy and honesty. I bring a lifetime of experience in love, loss, trauma, empathy, relationships, self-discovery and a deep appreciation of the experience of being human. I understand from personal experience how therapy can help you overcome hard things and learn to truly understand and love yourself.

I am excited to work with people who are brave enough to seek change and willing to learn a new way to be in relationship with themselves and others. You don’t have to have it all together or have the perfect words. You just need to be brave enough to show up. Whether you're trying to feel more like you again, communicate better with your partner or break patterns that keep playing out in your life. This work can be messy, but it’s worth it and you don't have to do it alone.

I offer my clients a safe and inclusive space to talk openly about life's challenges both past and present. I offer a warm, personalized approach to therapy drawing from a humanistic and experiential approach to make our work together meaningful and tailored to your unique needs.
